How Wike Contributed To My Victory – Tinubu Confesses

Tinubu has revealed how Wike contributed to his victory at the 2023 polls.

Truetells Nigeria reports that the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, thanked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for contributing to his victory at the February 25 presidential poll.

This online news platform understands that Tinubu, who spoke on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, while commissioning the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Port Harcourt, explained that Wike’s insistence that the presidency must return to the Southern party of the country was part of the factor that guaranteed his victory.

According to Tinubu, a former Lagos governor, despite the rumours and speculation peddled against him during the electioneering season, Wike stood by his conviction.

“He took a good stand that the presidency must return to the South and he had the courage to stand by his conviction not minding those against him.
