One of Nigeria’s singers making waves in Diaspora, Jemiriye Adeniji, maybe clinching the Grammy award soon as she revealed how David Adeleke, well known as Davido, inspired her new trending single ‘Tule’, that have attracted thousands of streams and still counting.
After spending countless hours, days, weeks and months in the studio and digging dip into the bowels of her creativity, the vocal powerhouse, Jemiriye, is now out with a new single and video.
The groovy song Which is interspersed and laced with afro rhythms has garnered over 1million views on YouTube in just 5days after it release, Tule is a love song that followers of good music will be enamoured because of the singer’s vocal depth which created a narrative around a lover who cares just to love and cherish and be loved back on returns.
The 3.15 minutes danceable visual of ‘Tule’ (meaning Free Me in her local Yoruba’ language), was directed by a prolific video director, Kadia Ouabi who leveraged on Jemiriye’s passionate musical appeal and vocal prowess.
Speaking on creative process behind ‘TULE’, Jemiriye Adeniji (her real name) said, TULE a love song “was created to help lovers express their true feelings without feeling shy or with constraints. Tule is a Yoruba word that means “expose it,” “free me,” or “release it.” … as a slang, it means “Get loose.
“When I was working on Tule, my intention was to help lovers express their unconditional love for each other without any fear or restraint because love is the most beautiful thing. I was also inspired by Davido when he used the slang “Tule joor” in 2021. The word just kept ringing a bell in my head. So, let’s Tule for our loved ones”

The audio and video gets officially released on all media platforms and available worldwide from Friday, Dec 1st.
On her plans for the rest of 2023 and beyond, the vivacious sultry singer says, “I have a couple of performances, appearances, and promotions for the rest of the year. 2023 has been a year of growth for me. I took a very long break to take care of myself, I took some needed rest, I read more books, I also ate a lot, lol… I traveled a lot this year, I met so many wonderful people, and I look forward to a great 2024.”
Having released :Tambele’ mid 2023, Jemiriye is now ready for more body of work leading to her debut album or an E.P perhaps as she tells her fans to watch her space.
