Justice Tanze Benjamin Makama, who was newly appointed as a judge of the Nasarawa State High Court of Justice, is dead.
Makama was appointed to the High Court of Justice in Nasarawa State on December 29, 2023. He died on Tuesday.
Nuhu J. Egya, the Chairman of the Keffi branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), in a statement, expressed his condolences to the family of the late judge, the Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, and the entire judiciary.
It was learnt that Justice Makama had been battling an undisclosed ailment.
Justice Makama was a former chairman of the Lafia branch of the NBA.
