In a heartwarming gesture, Happy Home Marriage Consult recently visited the Jam’iyya Matan Arewa Orphanage Home to donate essential relief materials to the resident children. The donated items were received by Hajia Rabi Musa Saulawa, President of Jam’iyya Matan Arewa, who expressed her gratitude for the support. She highlighted that the orphanage, established 58 years ago, relies solely on donations from philanthropists and organizations, as government support is lacking.
During the visit, Happy Home Marriage Consult discussed ways to address child abandonment in our society with Hajia Rabi. She emphasized the need for community leaders, parents, and religious leaders to sensitize their members on functional parenting and proper discipline, stressing that this approach can significantly reduce child abandonment as the government already has too much in its hand to focus on.
Hajia Rabi commended the Happy Home team for their kindness, stating that the donated relief materials would make a lasting impact on the lives of the orphans.
