Gunmen Attack Cubana Chief Priest In Anambra, Riddle His Vehicles With Bullets

Nigerian socialite, Okechukwu Pascal popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has reportedly been attacked by gunmen in Anambra State.

 

Sources said he narrowly escaped death as the hoodlums were said to have riddled his convoy with bullets.

 

Truetells Nigeria could not ascertain the location of the attack or the time of the attack, however, a video Instablog9ja posted on its Twitter handle on Sunday, shows a vehicle reportedly belonging to him riddled with bullets.

 

A Mercedes Benz V8 Turbo and three other vehicles parked in a compound believed to be his house were seen riddled with bullets.

 

The tweet reads: “Socialite Okechukwu Pascal aka Cubana Chief Priest narrowly escapes de@th as UGM riddle his convoy with b#llets in Anambra State.”

 

Meanwhile, efforts made by SaharaReporters to get clarifications or confirmation from the state police command were not successful as the spokesman for the command, Ikenga Tochukwu did not answer his calls.

 

 

 

In April 2022, Anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Cubana Chief Priest over alleged tax fraud and money laundering.

 

The socialite was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and questioned by EFCC officials.

 

In June 2020, the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit in Lagos State detained the Instagram celebrity known for his lavish lifestyle.

 

He was questioned for his alleged misuse of police escorts, weapons and unexplained wealth.
