The rain started in the Lekki area of Lagos State where Hilda is currently cooking, around 1:00 am and was still on when filling this report even as Nigerians at The Amore Gardens Lekki event center continued to chant Hilda’s name.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Magaret Peter Obi, the wife of the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi were at the venue to support Miss Bassey.
