Governor Wike Sacks Commissioner

Rivers state Commissioner for Environment, Dr Igbiks Tamuno has been sacked by Governor Wike.

Why Tamuno was sacked is still unclear at the moment, but The Nation reported that he was holding a press briefing at his ministry when he got wind of the development.

He has been directed to submit government’s documents and property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary in the ministry.
