Governor Simon Lalong has sacked 532 civil servants in Plateau state over falsified records. He said this was uncovered after an investigation using the BVN system.
Speaking at a policy retreat for Permanent Secretaries held at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS) Kuru, near Jos, the Plateau state Governor vowed to rid the civil service of members of staff who have questionable records or are found to have tampered with their records.
