God’s New Eternal Covenant Prayer Ministry Ordains Three New Pastors

God’s New Eternal Covenant Prayer Ministry, under the leadership of Prophetess Joy Chekube Danmusa, joyfully ordained three new pastors today, Thursday, January 15. The commissioning service, held at the ministry’s headquarters, was a powerful celebration of faith, calling and the church’s commitment to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and around the world.

In a moving ceremony attended by congregants, church leaders and family members, Prophetess Danmusa prayed over and laid hands on the newly ordained pastors, charging them with the mission to shepherd God’s people, preach the good news and carry out acts of compassion in their communities. The atmosphere was one of thanksgiving, expectation and spiritual resolve.

The newly ordained pastors are:

  1. Pastor Duru Oluwaseyi
  2. Pastor Efanga Asuquo
  3. Pastor Eche Inalegwu

Prophetess Joy Chekube Danmusa encouraged the new pastors to remain humble, steadfast and rooted in Scripture. “This ordination is not an honor for self-glory but a sacred trust,” she said. “As pastors, you are to reflect Christ’s love, stand firm in truth and serve with compassion. Go forth with prayer, courage and a heart for souls.”

Church leaders affirmed the new pastors’ gifts and readiness for ministry, sharing words of blessing and practical counsel for leadership, pastoral care and evangelism. Several members of the congregation offered testimonies of the candidates’ service and dedication, highlighting their work in worship, outreach and care ministries prior to ordination.

The commissioning included readings of Scripture, worship through songs and a moment of dedication in which each pastor pledged to uphold the church’s teachings and minister to the spiritual and practical needs of the people they will serve. Attendees described the service as a spiritually uplifting occasion that reinforced the ministry’s mission to advance the Kingdom of God.

Following the ordination, the ministry announced that the newly ordained pastors will be deployed to various pastoral and outreach roles, where they will lead worship, teach, provide counsel and expand evangelistic efforts. The church also urged the broader Christian community to pray for Pastor Duru Oluwaseyi, Pastor Efanga Asuquo and Pastor Eche Inalegwu as they step into their new responsibilities.
