Gbenga Daniel, writes state government, demands the suspension of his monthly pension of N676k

Former Ogun state governor cum Senator, Gbenga Daniel, has written to the state governor asking that his pension as a former governor of the state be stopped.

 

In a letter  dated June 14 and shared online today July 7, Daniel said  after his inauguration as a Senator of the 10th National Assembly, he wrote the letter to the state government asking for his pension and allowances put at  N676,376.95kobo be stopped immediately.

 

Daniel, who was elected in February to represent Ogun east in the red chamber of the 10th national assembly, said “good conscience” informed his decision to have his monthly payment suspended.

 

Daniel was the governor of Ogun from 2003 to 2011.
