Four Nigerian Celebrities Who Have Lost Their Sons

Nigerians woke up to the sad news of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of internationally renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, who was reported to have died yesterday at the Banana Island residence of the singer.

Truetells Nigeria reports that Ifeanyi, who died after drowning in a swimming pool yesterday night, just celebrated his third-year birthday a few days ago.

His sudden demise came as shocking news not to only the Adeleke family but to the entire nation.

Similarly, the son of popular Nigerian musician D’banj, Daniel Oyebanjo lll, was also reported to have died in June 2018 after drowning in the family’s pool at the singer’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Nollywood veteran actress, Eucharia Anunob i had In August 2017, lost her 15-year-old son Raymond to sickle cell anaemia complications.

The actress had come out to state that her son didn’t die from the chronic blood disorder, instead, he died as a result of the inappropriate handling of his condition by the doctor who treated him.

However, Truetells Nigeria  learnt that the actress-turned-pastor was reported to have “The comfort I have not to mourn unnecessarily over the loss of my only child as a single parent is because I know that he’s not gone.”

Also, Nollywood actor and comedian, Mr Ibu, lost his 2-year-old son, Emmanuel Mandela on the 24th of January 2012 after a brief illness.

According to the actor, who was reported to have said the incident was a long story, his son took ill some days before he died.
