Former Supreme Court Judge, Babalakin Is Dead

Former judge of the Supreme Court, Bolarinwa Oyegoke Babalakin, has died at the age of 94.

Babalakin is the father of businessman and lawyer, Wale Babalakin, who was called to the London Bar in the late 1950s.

The retired judge was said to have passed away on Saturday morning and will be buried at his Gbongan, Osun State, country home by 4:00pm in accordance with Islamic rites.

The late Justice Babalakin was an active member of the Muslim Association Of Nigeria, Ansarudeen Society.

He was also a former president of the Muslim Ummah of South-West Nigeria (MUSWEN).
