The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has bestowed the prestigious award of Peace Ambassador and Global Diplomat upon Dr. Augustine Nwaulune.
The award, titled ‘International Eminent Peace Ambassador,’ is in recognition of his significant contributions to humanity and the growth of Nigerian society.
This accolade goes beyond mere acknowledgment; it also marks Dr. Augustine Nwaulune’s appointment to join the esteemed rank of Peace Champions across the globe. The core mandate of the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), responsible for this recognition, is to ensure global peace, sustainable development, and the promotion of United Nations ideals and volunteers worldwide.
Professor Chidi Ehiriado, the International Director of IAWPA, shared insights into the decision, stating, “When studying Dr. Augustine Nwaulune’s character, you will know he is a good man. His journey from secondary to university and his life in the civil service reflect a man dedicated to promoting peace.”
The accolade comes with an invitation for the newly inducted ambassadors to participate in events in the United States between now and September 2024.
In response to receiving this distinguished award, Dr. Augustine Nwaulune expressed his commitment to peace, emphasizing that he has always been an advocate for harmony.
“Before I became inducted into this association, I have been a person of peace. I am the group president of the Great Pentecost Assembly whose vision is to restore peace to the ailing world, so peace is what I preach, and peace is what I am,” he affirmed.
The appointment and award underscore the importance of individuals actively contributing to global peace initiatives, recognizing Dr. Augustine Nwaulune’s impactful efforts in fostering a harmonious world.
