Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has said it will now investigate corruption among law enforcement agencies.
Acting chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, who dropped the hint in Abuja while speaking with newsmen, said the commission was investigating allegation of corruption in the civil service.
“We are also looking at sister services. We will investigate corruption in the sister services, particularly law enforcement agencies.
“If you check your record, you will see that we are involved in everything. That is not to say that we are better than other law enforcement agencies. We are not,» Magu said.
He also stated that it was not only the EFCC, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the Department of State Service (DSS) and the Police that were saddled with the responsibility of fighting corruption in the country.
