DSS releases former EFCC chairman, Bawa after 134 days in custody

The Department of State Service has released embattled ex-EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa, after over 134 days in custody.

 

Bawa was released on Wednesday night, October 25, 2023.

 

The secret police arrested Bawa on June 14, 2023, hours after President Bola Tinubu suspended him.

 

Bawa has reunited with his family and friends amidst fanfare.
