The tragic news surfaced online after Denisi’s associate, Joel Heugh Boyseen, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding Denisi’s death remain unclear, Boyseen’s posts reflected the shock and grief felt by friends and associates of the late socialite.
In one of the tributes, he wrote: “Love you always my broski, this one pain me.”
Boyseen also revealed that Denisi had recently relocated with some friends to spend time with him abroad, where they had begun creating new memories and building fresh connections.
“You all moved countries to be with me in Southy bro. My surest guy. I just sorted Southy for us. You made many brothers in this short time in Southy. Cape Town is crying. Brother wake up abeg,” he wrote in another post.
As of the time of filing this report, Davido has not publicly reacted to the development. However, fans and sympathisers have flooded social media with condolence messages for the singer.
The loss adds to a list of personal tragedies the award-winning artiste has endured over the years, including the deaths of close associates such as DJ Olu, Tagbo Umeike, and his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Davido has often used his platform to encourage kindness and forgiveness, reminding his followers about the unpredictability of life.
In a recent message shared on social media, the singer urged people to mend broken relationships and show compassion.
“Make that call. Send that text. Forgive that person. Tell them you miss them. Let go of that grudge. Show more kindness. Don’t take it for granted because tomorrow isn’t promised,” he wrote.
