Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has finally dropped his much anticipated fourth album, ‘Timeless’ after a long social media break, following the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the music star took to his social media page in the early hours of Friday, March 31, 2023, to announce the release of the 17-tracklist album to his numerous fans.
Davido also talked about the journey from his previous album to the latest one.
The ‘OBO’ crooner further expressed appreciation to his wife, Chioma Rowland, fans, and those who ensured the completion of the project.
The new album features exciting Nigerian and international artists such as Fave, Asake, and Cavemen, as well as British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, multi-Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, South African singer Musa Keys, Jamaican Dancehall star Dexta Daps and Davido’s new signees
He wrote: “At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least. I recall sitting and staring over the ocean not too long ago, wondering if I could get here again, after all I’ve been through… but with your love and support, we made it.
“I’m not sure what comes after this but I wanted to give you my heart, soul and energy. Today I present you “TIMELESS”
