Commuters feared dead as two BRT buses collide in Lagos (video)

Two Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicles collided today, October 26, in Ketu, Lagos State.

 

The accident happened on Wednesday morning.

 

According to eyewitnesses, one of the BRT buses rammed into a billboard and the other BRT bus coming behind hit it, while a yellow commercial bus also rammed into the BRT bus behind.

 

A video from the scene shows a crowd gathered to ascertain the level of damage.

 

The accident caused heavy gridlock in the area.

 

The LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) is already at the scene to rescue the casualties.
