Renowned author Chimamanda Adichie on Tuesday joined the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi; and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed at the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja.
Adichie, who is a staunch supporter of the former Anambra governor cum LP flag bearer was also seen amongst members of the Labour party in the court.
Truetells Nigeria reports that former Vice President and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar is also present at the tribunal.

The tribunal has resumed hearing in the adoption of written addresses by the petitioners.
Peter Obi is alleging that the presidential poll was rigged against him in about 18,088 polling units aside alleged overvoting that took place in parts of the South West.
But the defendants had in their final written addresses, urged the court to strike out Obi’s petition for lacking in merit.
Parties will give oral arguments on their case while the PEPC led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, would adjourn for judgement.
