The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially announced a strategic partnership with Africa Global Logistics (AGL), making AGL the Official Logistics Partner for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in 2026. The agreement was signed on Wednesday by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and AGL President Philippe Labonne.

This partnership builds on a successful collaboration that began with the AFCON Côte d’Ivoire 2023, highlighting AGL’s pivotal role in supporting CAF’s major tournaments. Dr. Motsepe expressed enthusiasm about the renewed partnership, stating, “CAF is delighted to once more establish a partnership with AGL. Their commitment to the development of football in Africa is substantial, and together we aim to uplift our communities through this beautiful game.”
The AFCON is recognized as one of the largest sporting events globally, boasting an audience of over 1.5 billion viewers across 178 countries. The partnership aims not only to enhance the logistics of these prestigious tournaments but also to contribute to the socio-economic development of African communities.
Philippe Labonne echoed this sentiment, emphasizing AGL’s shared vision with CAF. “We are honoured to extend our collaboration with CAF. Our aim is to support the successful organization of major tournaments while also transforming African football into a driver of economic and social development,” he stated.
The partnership between CAF and AGL signifies a commitment to using football as a catalyst for sustainable development across the continent. AGL’s extensive logistics network, covering 47 African countries, will ensure the successful delivery of CAF’s events, while also promoting local content and women’s inclusion in the sport.
As the AFCON Morocco 2025 approaches, the collaboration is set to stimulate local economies, create jobs, and strengthen infrastructure, tourism, and services across the region. Together, CAF and AGL are determined to leverage the power of football to drive Africa forward.
