BVAS syndicate arrested as INEC continues to announce 2023 election results.
Truetells reports that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested a number of suspects who are believed to be involved in the manipulation of the Bimordial Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).
This online news platform understands that the suspects were apprehended by the police in a sting operation on Ghandji street in the Maitama area of the FCT.
Arise TV reports that the police have taken the suspects into custody and are investigating the illegal possession and suspected manipulation of the BVAS.
It was also reported that one of the suspects arrested is said to be the Vice President of a company known as Emperor technology. The report said the suspects are helping the police with their investigation.
Meanwhile, Truetells Nigeria reports that the BVAS syndicate arrest is coming at a time the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is still announcing the Presidential election results recorded in various states in the country, with most Nigerians anxiously waiting to know who is winning.
