The initiative, themed “A Small Effort, A Great Protection,” aims to combat breast cancer across the 17 African countries where the SUNU Group operates.
SUNU Group has designated this month as “Pink October” to raise awareness about breast cancer which demonstrates the Group’s commitment to human health and early detection.
In a statement, SUNU Nigeria has announced its participation in the fight against breast cancer as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, aligning with the Group’s collective efforts.
SUNU Nigeria believes that early detection is key to preventing breast cancer deaths. When breast cancer is found early, while it’s still small and hasn’t spread, treatment is more effective.
By participating in this initiative, SUNU Nigeria aims to contribute to the global effort to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage regular screenings, and support those affected by this disease.
The company is dedicated to improving human health, with a particular focus on empowering women and promoting their well-being.
The mammogram screening will take place from Wednesday, October 30th to Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at the DAIMED Centre, Plot 7&8 T.F Kuboye Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
