Breaking: Kidnapped NLC Chairman Regains Freedom After Six Days

Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC in Cross River, Com Ben Ukpebi who was kidnapped six days ago has been released.

Truetellsnigeria understands that the union leader was freed after a ransom of 5million naira was paid to his abductors.

This online news platform gathered that the NLC Chairman was released at about 9 pm on Sunday night after the family was able to pay the 5 million ransom to his abductors who earlier demanded 20million naira.

The NLC Chairman was kidnapped on Tuesday evening from his residence at CROSPIL estate at Akpabuyo LGA, of the state.

However, the Police as at the time of this report is yet to react to the latest news of the release of the NLC Chairman.
