BREAKING: Fire Guts Enugu State Broadcasting Service Headquarters

Headquarters of the Enugu State Broadcasting Service has been gutted by fire on Tuesday morning.

Reports reaching Truetells Nigeria at this time confirmed that the station caught fire a few moments after it commenced morning operation at about 5:30 AM today.

The cause of the fire and damages caused by the incident is yet to be ascertained as at when this report was been given.

Meanwhile, a video clip has emerged showing goods worth millions of Naira that was recovered from the Next Cash and Carry fire incident that occurred in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja yesterday.
Naija News reports that the popular supermarket went up in flames on Sunday at about 8:00 am.

Residents, however, were concerned enough to assist shop owners in retrieving some of the goods in the stores from burning to ashes.

Though efforts were made to bring the raging fire under control, all were, however, to nought as the fire had spread wide and destroyed goods and properties worth millions of Naira.

There were insinuations earlier when the fire started that hoodlums were taking advantage of the incident and were looting away goods.

The FCT Command of the Nigeria Police Force has, however, confirmed in a statement earlier that no looting was recorded during the incident. It explained that the locals only assisted in conveying the goods to a safer place and piled them up there to keep them safe from the fire.
