The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for N1600 and sell at N1610 on Wednesday 21st August 2024, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).
Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.

A report by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), confirmed that the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, popularly called cooking gas, in Nigeria dropped by 14.23% in July 2024.
The report said the price per 5kg of cooking gas fell from ₦6,966.03 in June to ₦5,974.55 within the period under consideration.
The price variance is based on the recently released Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) Price Watch report by the NBS.
