The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) for today, Thursday, October 21, opened N565.00 to a $1, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).
Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.
The exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦414.18/$1 on 20th October 2021 and closed at ₦414.07/$1, showing a decline at -0.16.
According to data from FMDQ, forex turnover for Wednesday, 20th October 2021 was pegged at $172.00 million.
