Truetells Nigeria learnt that the election materials had not arrived as of 8:22 am on Saturday.
This contradicts the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) guideline that the election process will kick off by 8:30 am and end at 2:30 p.m.
In an interview with journalists, a Registration Area Center supervisor, Dauda Kabiru, at the Government Secondary School, blamed the police for the delay, stressing the voters were ready at 6 am.
The official said, “We were ready as at 6 am this morning, but the policemen to accompany in conveying materials to various polling units were not on site.
