TRUETELLS Nigeria reports that Nigerian actor Baba Ijesha has opened up about crossdresser Bobrisky’s difficult experience behind bars.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, Baba Ijesha recounted that Bobrisky was overwhelmed upon arrival at the prison, visibly crying and rolling on the floor in distress. He clarified that contrary to circulating rumors, Bobrisky did not receive any special treatment or stay in a hotel.
Baba Ijesha described Bobrisky as more than his flamboyant public persona. Behind the theatrics, he said, Bobrisky is a compassionate and dependable individual who often shared food with fellow inmates. Bobrisky’s mother reportedly prepared meals for hundreds of prisoners, showing care for the entire cell.
He said:
“When Bobrisky got to the cell, he was crying and rolling on the floor. It’s not true that he was taken to a hotel. Although he behaves like a cartoon online, he is very reliable. Whenever food was brought for him, he would share it with other prisoners. His mum cooked for about 1,000 inmates and was always crying. All the female outfits Bobrisky wears, he uses them to make money. He is a very kind person. I am now the ambassador for prisoners.”
