Truetells Nigeria had earlier reported that the court convicted Baba Ijesha for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor in the custody of comedienne Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess.

Recall that the actor was arrested after Princess reported him to the police, accusing him of sexually assaulting the teenager.

Baba Ijesha confessed to the allegations levelled against him and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the Princess’ house.

The actor on Thursday was found guilty of some charges against him.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgment, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault.

The court judge, however, discharged and acquitted the actor of counts one and six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
