Atiku’s Daughter Joins APC

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s daughter Fatima has revalidated her membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Truetells Nigeria reports  that Fatima, a former commissioner for health in Adamawa, registered with the ruling party at Ward 1. Unit 08, Jada local government area of the northeast state.

The chairman of the APC in Adamawa state, Mr. Ibrahim Bilal, also confirmed the registration of Atiku’s daughter.
Fatima Atiku has stayed back in the APC despite her father being a chieftain of the PDP.

The 49-year-old was appointed commissioner in August 2015 under the administration of former Governor Jibrilla Bindow and has remained with the APC since then.

Already, one of Atiku’s sons, Adamu, is currently serving as the commissioner for works and energy development in Adamawa state.

Meanwhile, a recent media report has detailed how some aggrieved chieftains of the APC are planning to scuttle the ongoing membership registration and validation exercise in all state chapters with lawsuits.
