APC Candidate Dies In Enugu Road Accident

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representative candidate for Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, Ejikeme Omeje has died in a fatal road accident.

Truetells Nigeria understands that Omeje died in a motor accident that occurred on Tuesday morning along Eden Ani/Nsukka road, near El-Rina hotel Nsukka.

It was gathered that the accident occurred when Omeje was driving back from Edem-Ani town after a political event.

An APC stakeholder from the zone who confirmed the incident to Daily Post, disclosed that the APC candidate was driving alone along the Erina-Edem Ani road in Nsukka, when he suddenly lost control and his car veered into the bush, hitting a tree in the process.

The politicians was rushed to the hospital but he was later pronounced dead in the early hours of Tuesday morning as a result of the injuries he sustained from the fatal accident.

Also confirming the incident, the State Secretary of the APC in Enugu State, Robert Ngwu, said the death of the top politician was shocking.
