A 36 year old man has died of Coronavirus in Lagos state.
His death was announced by the Lagos Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, on Twitter today April 5.
According to Professor Abayomi, the deceased passed away on Saturday April 4 in a private facility.
His tweet reads
We lost a #COVID19 patient ; a 36 year old Nigerian, male who died in a private facility on 4th April, 2020. Total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now 2
