The campaign posters of Governo Yahaya Bello of Kogi State have surfaced in several major streets and roundabouts of Kano state on Tuesday morning.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the posters announcing the governor’s bid for the 2023 Presidential race were seen in areas in Katsina like Kofar Kaura, Mani Road Junction, Liyafa Palace Junction, Kofar Kwaya, and GRA Roundabout, among others.
A look at the messages on the posters read “Yahaya Bello for President and Bello for a Generational Change, 2023.”
The campaign poster did not indicate on which position governor Bello would be contesting for and under which political platform. But it was learned that he is planning to contest for the presidency in 2023.

This news Platform understands that the printing and circulation of the posters were sponsored by a group known as Nigeria Youth Awareness Group (YAB).
Recall that Aji Bularafa, Political Adviser to the APC chairman, Mai Mala Buni, had said it is too early for Bello to start campaigning for the Presidency, even though it is his right as a Nigerian.
Bularafa also suspected that the governor may not be aware of the posters, hinting it may be the handiwork of some people after his money.
He advised Bello to concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to Kogi people rather than be distracted.
“Gov. Yayaha Bello has every right as a Nigerian to contest for the president of the country but I think it is too early.
“He has more than two years as a governor to serve his people because his election was in November, 2019.
“It is also possible that the Governor may not be the one nursing the ambition but probably some people who are after his money.
“These things are possible in politics. You will see may of such posters as 2023 comes closer,” Bularafa said
