Obasanjo said he told Tinubu on Wednesday during the visit that he had added some new vocabulary to the Yoruba political dictionary.
Continuing, the former President who spoke in Yoruba language during the interaction where he made the revelation added that he told Tinubu the new vocabulary will be put into use though he doesn’t know if it has a good or bad meaning.
According to Obasanjo, Tinubu also burst into laughter when he made his submissions.
Some of the new vocabulary quoted by Obasanjo in the video were; “Èmi Lọ Kàn, Eléyìí, Olule” — meaning “I’m the next, This One, and to fall badly”.
In his words, “Yesterday, when I received a visitor, I said visitor you have introduced new vocabularies into the Yoruba political dictionary.
“Èmi Lọ Kàn, Eléyìí, Olule, he laughed and I said I don’t know If these new vocabularies are good or not good, but they are new and we will continue to use them.”
Truetells Nigeria recalls Tinubu famously said those words on June 2, 2022, during a visit to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital when he claimed without him, the likes of President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Dapo Abiodun wouldn’t have clinched political power.
