Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) had concluded all plans to hold the 6th edition of its food and drinks festival, commencing tomorrow Saturday, 29th of April to Monday, May 1st, 2023.
The annual event, which is the biggest food event in Africa, promotes Small Scale Businesses across the continent, and it holds at Gtcenter, Plot 1 Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Details of this development were made known to the newsmen, yesterday at the press briefing, held at the Bank’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.
As part of its efforts in promoting enterprises, the financial institution explained that this year’s edition is going to be more colourful and interesting, as its free vendor stands have increased from 130 to 208.
Food lovers across Africa and the world are, therefore, expected to join this year’s edition of the food feast, which is part of GTCO’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to boost small-scale businesses.
“There will be a Master Class session which will feature renowned chefs across the world that will bring their experience in the international food business.”
“Speaking on the mode of selecting the vendors, he noted, “We sent out our notifications months ago through all digital platforms and print for any interested vendors to apply across the country.
“About 3000 applicants apply for this year’s edition and through screening two hundred and eighty were picked, as we picked from Abuja Ogun to mention but few”, he explained.
