Speaking on Saturday in Kaduna, Tinubu stated that Nigeria needs thinkers and doers hence his appeal to El-Rufai not to pursue another educational degree immediately after his tenure ends.
The APC flagbearer said Nigeria and Nigerians need the creativity of a person like El-Rufai at a time like this.
“We need your creativity at this critical time,” he begged the Kaduna State Governor.
Immediately after the speech by the APC candidate, Governor El-Rufai walked to the podium and promised to stay behind to contribute his quota.
“I promise to stay even on a part-time basis,” he said.
Earlier while speaking at the event in Kaduna State, Tinubu had promised to assemble a team of intelligent people if he is elected President in 2023.
“Nigeria will succeed and move on to prosperity. I will assemble intelligent Nigerians both men and women for the progress of our country.”
“We will champion an effective government that will block revenue leakages for proper accountability,” he assured.
