The 2023-2024 Premier League matchday 8 will kick off at Kenilworth Road between newcomers Luton Town and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, October 7.
After the opening game, there will be four Premier League matchday 8 fixtures that will go down simultaneously at 3 p.m.
The games include Chelsea vs Burnley, two clubs that are just returning from a poor run of form. Struggling Manchester United will also host Brentford at Old Trafford during the same period.
On Sunday, October 3, there will be four Premier League matchday 8 fixtures, and the biggest of them all is the game between last season’s Premier League champions, Manchester City, and the second runner-up, Arsenal.
These two clubs met three months ago in the Community Shield which coach Mikel Arteta and his boys won via penalties after playing 1-1 in the regular time.
Pep Guardiola and his boys have already recorded a defeat in the Premier League this season but Arsenal are going into the tie with an unbeaten run in the league. But they are just recovering from a defeat in the Champions League against French Ligue 1 side Lens.
