#14thHeadies: Omah Lay Wins ‘Next Rated’ Award For #EndSARS Victims

Singer, Omah Lay has emerged the winner of the Next Rated Award category at the 14th edition of the Headies music awards ceremony.

The ‘Next Rated’ category is a voting category for the most promising act in the year under review. Artistes nominated alongside Omah Lay include TemsOxlade and Bella Shmurda.

Oxlade and Bella Shmurda walked with Omah Lay to collect the award which he dedicated to the victims of the Lekki shootings on the 20th of October 2020 during the nationwide #EndSARS protest.

It was indeed a tough competition and big win for Omah Lay owing to the fact that Bella Shmurda, Oxlade and Tems all had an amazing year in the Nigerian music industry.
