Apparently, due to his abysmal performance within few weeks of engagement, Super Eaglesโ€™ handler, Finidi George, has resigned his position from the Nigerian senior national team.

This was made known by ex-Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, in a post on X.com on Saturday.

His employer, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), had within the week resolved to engage a foreign technical adviser above George to handle the national team as Nigeriaโ€™s chances of participation in the next World Cup hangs in the balance.
